Bio

Matt has been with Belimo since 2018, in various locations and positions. He attended the 9-month training program at Belimo US headquarters in Danbury, CT and then took over as the District Sales Manager in Minnesota. He recently was promoted to this territory and moved to South Carolina with his wife Amy and Black Lab, Molly. Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In his spare time, Matt enjoys golfing, fishing, boating, playing pinball, riding dirt bikes, and watching football! 

Presentation Description

Energy and performance models make a few faulty assumptions about hydronic performance. By understanding these assumptions, we can have a better view of actual performance. This presentation will examine the performance impact of improper valve sizing, unstable system pressures, and balancing device selection. It also examines the physical effects of valve authority and coil degradation and presents technologies that can help resolve these issues.
